Game format : Best-of-3 for qualifier stages, Best-of-5 for playoffs

*NOTE: In case of any ladder map changes from Blizzard, please follow the latest Blizzard official ladder 1v1 map.

 

Game speed : Faster

 

Map picks:

  1. Best-of-3 stages:
  2. i. Coin flip to decide map sequence
    1. 4 maps will be banned with a winner-loser-winner-loser of coin flip sequence
    2. Both players will then pick 1 map each as the loser map
    3. The remaining map will be used as the first map of the series. The loser of the first match of the series will have his map used as the second map, and the last map is used if it goes to the third map.

  3. Best-of-5 stages:
  4. i. Coin flip to decide map sequence
    1. 2 maps will be banned in a winner-loser of coin flip sequence
    2. Remaining map sequence will be picked in a winner-loser-winner-loser sequence, with the remaining map used as the last map.

 

Victory : Victory is decided by breaking all of the opponent’s buildings, forcing the opponent to leave the map or calling GG.

 

Tiebreaker:
If there are 2 or more teams with same scores, the ranking of will be determine by following criteria :

  1. Total Games Difference ( Round Difference = total rounds won – total rounds lost )
  2. Total gametime

If ranking could not be determined by both criteria, an extra bo1 match will be played to determine the ranking.

 

Disqualification clauses:

  1. Player will be disqualified is he/she does not check in with the admin during the time provided.
  2. Player’s race has to be the same as registered, and any changes will result in disqualification.

 

Disconnections:

  1. A player cannot disconnect on purpose without prior approval for the admin, or use any illegal methods to cause disconnections. If found guilty, it will be held as breaking of rules and punishments will be dealt accordingly.
  2. In case of any unforeseen or accidental disconnections:
  3. i. Both players to leave their screens as is, and to record a video as proof of disconnection.
    ii. Restore using replay (admin has the right to decide a 3-5 second buffer time during restore)

 

Draw scenarios:

  1. A draw occurs when both players cannot eliminate each other.
  1. If the game time has not reached 20 minutes, a rematch of the map will be held.
  2. If the game time is past 20 minutes, the verdict will be decided using the in-game score, and the player whose score is 20% higher than the opponent will be declared victor, provided if:
  3. 1. There are no more resources remaining on the map.
    2. Both players do not have the army count to finish each other.

  4. If player scores are less than 20% apart, a draw will be called and a rematch will be held.

 

Pause scenarios:

  1. In events of exceptional or unforeseen circumstances, each player has 2 mandatory pauses, provided that the admin has been given the reason of the pause. In any other case (after the 2 mandatory pauses), should a player require a pause, it will require approval from the opponent and the admin. Each pause will last a maximum of 3 minutes, and any unnotified pauses will be given a warning and/or punishment.
